After several years of experience in scientific research in the Czech Republic, Switzerland, the Netherlands and France, Petra began her career in the field of intellectual property in the association of patent and trademark attorneys INVENTIA s.r.o. She completed a specialist programme in industrial property protection at the Institute of Industrial Law Education at the Industrial Property Office of the Czech Republic.and subsequently passed the Czech Patent Attorney examinations. Petra has been with HARBER IP since its foundation, where she also passed the European Qualifying Examination (EQE) and became a European Patent Attorney.

Petra has a long-standing commitment to education and training in the field of industrial property protection and regularly conducts seminars for researchers at the Czech Academy of Sciences.

Petra is also actively involved in the European Patent Institute (epi), the professional organisation of European Patent Attorneys. She has long represented the Czech Republic on its highest governing body, the epi Council, as well as on its professional committees. She currently serves on the European Patent Practice Committee, and as a substitute member on the Professional Education Committee.
